HOW IT WORKS
The type of information provided.
OnsiteConference
programs
center on highly topical information. We focus our attention on
issues that are hot topics, because these issues require the most
"new" knowledge. We often plan our conferences only weeks in
advance because a new issue has appeared or somehow made it on the
industry radar screen. Through our network of contacts and research,
we locate expert speakers with current research who deliver an
executive level overview of the topic, comment on real world
applications, and answer questions in a live conference setting.
Direct versus Distributed Notification. Unless
prohibited by your institution, we contact each potential attendee
directly, rather than through a central research facilitator who
forwards the information to the appropriate departments. We
believe it is appropriate to advise you of MOST of the financial
services topics that are being covered, because no one will argue
that it has become literally impossible to determine in advance what
information is going to be useful to someone else in the
intra-connected, rapidly-changing, world of financial services these
days. The Affluent group needs to know about small business owner
issues, the ATM group is interested in Internet banking issues, the
Middle Market Corporate group is trying to develop a database of the
working affluent for cross-sell purposes, etc.
SPAM and Un-wanted email. We send email
invitations about three times per month to upcoming programs. The email is
always labeled "OnsiteConference - Topic Name - Date of
Conference". The label makes it easy to quickly evaluate your
potential interest in the program. If no interest in the
topic, delete. If some interest, read email. If more interest, visit
website. If any of your colleagues registers for the conference, we
send you a second email labeled "Your company has registered for
OnsiteConference on Topic X" and lets you know that you can attend
at no charge or get a copy of the presentation at no charge.
If you'd like to be removed from the email invitation list, just
hit 'reply' to any email we send you and type "REMOVE" in the
subject line. We will send you one email to confirm that we
have removed your name from the list.

Alternately, let us know
if you'd like us to send conference invitations only on topics
requested by you. Very few people ask to be removed from the
invitation list, because the invitations are easily identified, and
usually concern a topic of interest.
How names are added to our invitation
list Either you registered for a conference or have been
registered by a "central coordinator", manager or secretary.
We locate potential speakers based on personal reference, and by
recognized industry expertise.
Who is participating in today's session?
OnsiteConference
programs attract an extremely diverse audience of senior financial
services executives. Because the attending institution pays only one
fee for an unlimited number of attendees, many companies set up a
conference room so
that several can listen on a single telephone line. Because there is
no additional charge, many more individuals get to attend the
presentations than have ever been able to in the past, when
attending meant that one person flew away for three days to the
conference and came back and put the handouts in a pile on the desk
where they often sat unread.
Large numbers of team members attend
OnsiteConference because: (1) Hot Topics - Everyone from Senior Exec to Entry
Analyst needs to know about the industry's "current events" (2)
Convenience - attend from anywhere there is a phone (3) One
low fee - $325 - Admits everyone at your firm
The target audience for most of our programs is senior financial
services executives working in marketing, strategy or product
development. There is a large peripheral audience
that attends because of interest in a single aspect of the
presentation topic or who attends because of a desire to keep
abreast of key issues that are impacting their institution even when
those issues are not directly related to their current
focus. Besides those who
attend the live conference, there is a secondary group of
individuals who are not able to attend, but who register for the
presentation deck and session transcript.
Program Topics Generally
speaking, our financial services division issues tend to be in the
area of Marketing and Product Development.
We frequently also present programs dealing
with operational and technology issues.
The presentation
subject usually represents a "Hot Topic" that is being actively
discussed in leading industry publications. A second source of
topics is current research results.
Why we offer a satisfaction guarantee. We offer
a satisfaction guarantee because it is impossible to know in advance
if the conference is going to meet your needs.
We edit the speaker's presentation
for two things. Sales content and accuracy of program description.
OnsiteConference
previews the presentations to edit out sales content (but
UNFORTUNATELY some slips through anyway) and to confirm that the
presentation is accurately described in the invitation and on
our website.
"Accuracy of the program description" means that we try to ensure
that the presentation is accurately described in the invitation
email that we send to you, so that you can decide if the conference
is going to meet your needs. Sometimes, the description is
inaccurate, or the presentation or supporting data is "weak",
occasionally the presentation doesn't suit the seniority level of
the attendee because it is too basic, or alternately too technical.
Because no one knows in advance if the program will be acceptable,
we let you decide AFTER the program is over, whether it provided
high value. If not, you do not pay to attend.
We appreciate your business and want to make sure you are
satisfied with your OnsiteConference!
