Session Description:

As banks become more refined in the management of customer overdraft services, an optimal solution extends overdraft limits to a customer based upon their unique propensity and ability to repay.  At the same time, extending limits beyond what a customer may be able to repay results in persistent and
unnecessary risk.

This session demonstrates the success of an overdraft program depends on extending high limits to a very small subset of qualifying customers, and exercising far greater caution with the large majority of customers. The effective management of risk in a successful program requires highly granular capabilities for monitoring and reacting to changing customer behaviors and circumstances.

This session is appropriate for senior financial executives with
responsibility for Retail Banking, Overdraft Services, Risk Management, Marketing, and Strategy Groups.
