Advances in technology and an increasingly competitive landscape are forcing banks to deploy new browser-based cash management solutions to retain business customers. Attendees will gain an understanding of how banks are currently benefiting from the use of browser-based cash management solutions. Adoption rates and major trends currently shaping the industry will be discussed as will the most important features and functionalities to different sized financial institutions. Finally, the presentation will conclude with forecasts on the direction the industry will be moving in over the next 12-18 months. Banks that do not at least have plans in place to deploy a browser based cash management solution will have difficulty remaining competitive going forward as customers grow increasingly demanding.

About Christine Barry:


Christine Barry is an analyst within Celent Communications' banking group based in the firm's Boston office. Ms. Barry's areas of expertise are cash management, commercial lending, core banking/processing, small business banking, mortgages, and biometrics.

Ms. Barry is quoted frequently in the media, including Businessweek, American Banker, Bank Technology News, Bank Systems & Technology and The Banker. She has presented her research findings at conferences including AAIS, Insurance Online and BiometriTech, and is scheduled to speak at this year’s NACUSO Fall Leadership Roundtable and SRI’s Voice Technology for Financial Services conference.

Before joining Celent, Ms. Barry was an analyst for Meridien Research's e-financial services group. She researched, analyzed, reported, and advised on new strategic technologies in the financial services marketplace including online banking, brokerage, insurance, telematics, biometrics, account aggregation, and affinity banking.  

Previously, Ms. Barry was an associate in commercial lending at KBC Bank. She was also a financial analyst for Citibank, in the bank's global derivatives and strategic initiatives groups.     

Ms. Barry received her MBA from Babson College and her BA from Villanova University.
