Session Description:

Quris Managing Director Michael Sippey and Account Director Judith Zissman will present detailed findings from their 2003 View from the Inbox(tm) consumer research, highlighting best practices and trendlines across multiple industries with an emphasis on how creating customer-centric email can help drive customer engagement and profitability. Quris will examine the impact of email on consumer brand perception, review findings on how people use email in work and personal interaction, and present a brief overview of the changing landscape of deliverability, spam technology and legislative issues.

Methodology for the survey:  The survey was fielded in August 2003 using Equation Research in collaboration with Up2Speed Consulting. The respondents to this study were drawn from Equation Research's access to a panel of 2.4 million consumers. In all, Equation Research reported on 1,691 completed responses to the survey.  The sample was screened for a minimum age of 18, residents of the United States, representative of the larger population based on 2000 Census data, and those who use email at least once per week.  The margin of error for questions reported for the entire sample size is +/- 3% and, the confidence level used to report comparisons between sub-segments of respondents reported in this summary is 95%.

This program is appropriate for senior financial executives with responsibility for Email, Brand, Channel Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Online Banking, Product Development and Strategy Teams.
