Session
Description:
The
future of ATMs is now. This year marks the 30th
anniversary of the granting of a patent for the first automated
teller machine. 2003 also brought Check 21, which is expected
to breathe new life into ATMs. Advanced
functionality ATMs can add value to the customer experience,
as well as represent new revenue streams.
Security measures are also being upgraded.
In addition, some deployers are using ATMs as marketing
vehicles by displaying advertising and dispensing coupons.
At the center of this swirl of activity is the consumer.
In this presentation, SYNERGISTICS explores the consumer
perspective on ATMs based on an extensive database of research
collected since 1981, including its most recent report, 0ptimitizng
the ATM, published in 2003.
This
program is appropriate for senior financial executives with
responsibility for ATM and Retail Marketing, Payments, Online
Services, Product Development, Market Research and Strategy
Teams.
