Description:
For the last several years, technocrats or "techies" have
driven the banking industry to the point of madness with promises
of lowering delivery costs via electronic channels and "killer
apps" that will solidify ("it’s stickier") existing
customer relationships. In many
instances, such hype has kept the industry from taking further
steps in the online banking arena. This hype also has prompted
the industry to act prematurely and invest in costly, low-demand
online services/applications. This presentation explores the
realities of the online banking and ecommerce arenas based
on Raddon Financial Group’s national consumer research.
Bob
will detail current trends in online financial behavior and
profile the key online consumer segments, bill pay usage by
segment, consumer willingness to use online statements and
why some consumers are reluctant to use online banking.
This
program is appropriate for senior financial executives with
responsibility for Retail Marketing, Online Banking, Product
Development, Market Research and Strategy Teams.
