More than 10 billion e-mails criss-cross the United States everyday.  Usage will continue to grow as postal rates climb, consumers demand 24/7 access and a majority of consumers are on-line.  Financial services providers have embraced email implementing their own marketing and delivery programs incorporating a wide variety of applications.  In this presentation, SYNERGISTICS will examine e-mail from the consumer’s perspective.  Information will be presented from a national Internet survey conducted in August 2002 of 1,000 consumers age 10 or older including 2—with income of $100,00 or more.  Topics discussed include:
Current Activity
Perceptions of E-mail
Channel Integrations
Applications-Marketing and Customer Service
Challenges and Opportunities

This presentation will assist financial services providers involved in designing, and implementing e-mail management programs.  This program is appropriate for senior financial executives with responsibility for Retail Marketing, Card, Payments, Online Services, Product Development, Market Research and Strategy Teams.
