After years of cross-selling, advertising and promoting, most banks have made no progress in raising customer awareness of higher-profit services... that's a key conclusion of a recent branch exit poll conducted by NewGround. Why are banks failing at their efforts to sell insurance and brokerage services, etc. despite spending hundreds of millions of dollars? This session will highlight the critical issues that stand in the way of the imperative of creating both cross-sales and the brand value of the bank. We'll talk about building customer profitability by recognizing past failures and suggesting strategies for improvement.

In this session, Charlene Stern, Senior Vice President of NewGround will reveal the trended results of NewGrounds two-wave, four-city survey of 160 super-regional bank branch customers conducted in spring 2000 and spring of 1997, and then provide analysis and recommendations on the revenue generation issues facing the industry.

This session is appropriate for senior executives in consumer banking, affluent marketing, product development, market research and strategy teams.

Attendance Fee:

$275 plus $50 per telephone line used
