About Mike Branton:
Mike is the Managing Partner of StrategyCorps. StrategyCorps focuses exclusively on making its bank clients’ checking line-up perform better.

He’s a former banker. As a business development officer for a community bank in Florida, he focused on making loans, getting deposits and opening new branches.

After leaving banking and prior to StrategyCorps, Mike owned several businesses in the real estate development, environmental, and management consulting industries. He has also been on the Board of Directors of several privately-held companies.

Mike has been an advisor to many banks and other professional services companies in the areas of strategic planning, business development and service/product development. He has been a presenter to many industry groups at conferences like BAI, SourceMedia, ABA and many state banking associations.

He graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He has a Masters of Business Administration degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife, three teenage daughters and two female dogs. The dogs are the only one that listens to what he says.
